Training Magic and Farming Big Bones (RS)
Hello everyone! I’ve decided to approach this blog in a much different light than I had before. My philosophy for blogging involved releasing lots of extended content in writing terms but after trying to work that out for a while, I came to realize that isn’t as easy as it sounds when you’re a full time student and blogging isn’t your occupation. I’ve decided to release lots of shorter, but yet exquisite, content in order to keep the blog running at a much faster pace at which I can actually release content because it won’t require me to change my schedule one bit. The theory is “I upload as I go along in my life as a gamer.” This means the content will be released as things happen to me, as things are said in the gaming world, and so forth. No onwards to the actual purpose of this post.
So I’ve picked up Runescape completely now. I had picked it up earlier but then left it for a month or so since I was having a self discovery month during July. Now that I’m back in, my “Road to Swan Song” continues. Most of the time in game is being spent on the little island full of ogres to the east of Castle Wars, killing Ogres and collecting their bones. I’ve come to calculate that if I carry my chaos and air runes, and two lobsters, I can carry 24 big bones back to castle wars. 1k big bones will net me almost 350k in gold and the ropes that I need to get onto the island are cheap as can be at only 85 gp each, meaning that the relative 45ish trips it takes to get 1k will only take 45 ropes and the math is just dork work. Onwards! To grinding!
Moving forward in life
It’s one in the morning on August the thirteenth and I can’t seem to go to sleep. I tossed and turned in bed for the last two hours and honestly can’t get into that trance-like state you feel before you knock out for the night. Later today, or tomorrow depending on how you look at days, I have my first driving class.
On Monday I got my Learner’s Permit and opened my bank account. The same day I scheduled my first lesson with the same guy who taught my mom when she was pregnant with me, it almost feels like taking the same lessons twice. I find the most funny thing to be how my peers insist that driving before you have your permit is the way to go and “I already know how to drive.” I must object though, I’m not trying to oppose on freedom of parenting but I am insisting that letting your child drive before he’s been granted the permission to learn by law is just a bit crazy. I might as well not even get started about the whole bank account thing too.
After opening my bank account, I was told that my debit card and PIN would have to be sent through mail since I am under eighteen and blah blah blah. So after about a weeks wait, the debit card arrives. I understand that the PIN and card must be sent separately for safety reasons but why not send the freaking PIN first so when you get your damn card you can actually activate the damn thing and not have it sitting around in your wallet gathering dust. So I await the arrival of my PIN so I can call in and activate my freaking card. Anyways, thank you for reading and I’m going to see if I can catch some fucking ZzZs now.
CoD MW3 - Spec Ops Surivival Trailer
Officially my interest has been sparked for Modern Warfare 3. For one, if air strikes are used like in the trailer in multi-player then that means that you must be near the area where you wish the air strike to land thus making it sort of impossible to call something in somewhere either too far away or not in line-of-sight. Infinity Ward, keep throwing trailers like this my way and I’ll consider adding you to my Christmas list.

Corridor Digital has done it again with another amazing short. This video is the tale of a Sniper and Spy on the red team who are trying to get rid of an annoying and pesky Blue Team Engineer and his Sentry Gun. Why is it on here? It has to do with gaming and it does a very good job in doing so.
